I've tried posture shirts, straps, vests, etc. This works better than all of them and is easier and more convenient to use. You can configure the parameters such as how long to wait before notifying you that you are slouching and you can see what angle you are leaning very accurately on the app. Calibrating the device is super easy. It's definitely worth getting the necklace rather than using the stick on pads. I wasn't sure if the necklace would work as well as the pads, but it does.
The gizmo works fine -- helps me keep upright at the computer (I also bought a stand to raise the computer to eye level). But gluing the device to my neck was a pain. The silicone band, which snaps magnetically in front, like a backwards necklace, is great. Works when I'm sitting, or walking around the house.
It does help, but then if you need to move to a different chair or activity you have to either turn it off or recalibrate it or it buzzes to much.
